I am currently stuck on this mission. I received the invitation, but didn't use it immediately. When I finally used it, I was in a new system, in space. The log entry says to follow the mission marker in the galaxy map, but there is simply nothing on the galaxy map. Apparently a system should be marked with a skull symbol. That isn't the case.Oh man, that's a tough break. Thank you for giving the rest of us a heads up. I just started and got my under water module, and just a moment ago I was searching around on a planet underwater thinking, "I should just build that sub." This could have been me the next time I sat down at the game.

Leave the mission restarted my game and tried to finish star birth but the system I need to jump to doesn't show up as it says I have under a rebel star active when I actually have something else active.
