r/Pathfinder2e • "Restrictions are GOOD in Pathfinder 2e" - I've had players coming from D&D 5th Edition who want to homebrew Pathfinder 2e rules that cost you an action to move, raise a shield, and do other things, as well as the Multiple Attack Penalty. Here I talk about why that's a bad idea. To elaborate on the divine casters bit, my understanding is that it’s mostly (at least in the early levels) due to a lack of a reliable damage-dealing cantrip; if I remember right the only two damage dealing cantrips on the Divine list is Daze (which is mental damage so useless against mindless enemies) and Divine Lance (which is reliant on the target having an alignment opposed to your ... The character is 13th level now. Story: This character began as a loremaster in training for a Varissian tribe, and began adventuring seeking out runes amongst the ruins of old Thassilonia. This lead him to the Cyphergate in Riddleport, where upon touching it, a pact was formed with a power he has yet to find. That said, fighters can't range heal, fly over obstacles, burrow through the earth, create holes in solid rock walls, travel 960 miles in 8 hours, teleport across continents, shift to other planes, etc. Casters have versatility at expense of raw damage. 2.
