How to set uverse remote
Remote in U-Verse app no longer working. I often use the "Remote" functionality withing the iOS U-Verse app to change channels, access DVR, etc instead of an IR remote. Today it has stopped working. When I first open the app and try to access any "Remote" function, it says "No U-Verse receivers are set up yet.A workaround is to set your remote to follow the mode button - In att mode it will control the STB - att/ok-955-enter. Set the STB sound to 15 - you can see it on the TV. Set your TV & bose levels to comfortable. While watching u-verse in att mode you can vary the sound that comes from the TV or Bose (whichever is active) by the volume button ...Their programming codes are to get those remotes to control (mainly on/off, volume) the device attached to the dvr or receiver. THis is why you cannot find the codes for the dvr or receiver to control them. The problem with universal remotes is you need to have one that is documented as att uverse compatible.
