I changed my load a little (12GA, 17.5 gr Clay, WT12 Wad, 1 1/8oz, AA Hull) and noticed that the crimps are not as deep-nice as the last combination, the center of the crimps are peaking but the edges of the crimps look good. The depth of the crimp measured .025" deep at the edge and peaks in the center.Curly N. Rio primers will be the toughest primers to seat because they are the biggest and you are forming the hole to the larger size. Lower your powder drop tube about 1/8" and see if that helps. This and the dearth of loading data is a perfectly good reason to not use the Rio primers. Point A was taken at the top of the primer.Any MEC press with a collet resizer will have a square push rod inside the back of the main column. This rod and the groove it slides in needs to be clean and properly lubed. The rod needs to have a small bend in it . Perfectly straight is wrong. So the Grabber resizes the shell in its collet press, but the 650 doesn't have that. My dad was a policeman ( he retired in 1983) and he saved the empty hulls for me when they practiced with the shotguns.
