Once that mission completes (assuming it doesnt bug out too), go back to "Groundpounder" and the Spacers should show up at both locations. Then just follow the mission to completion. *Dont forget to go inside the Research Outpost U3-09 before/after completing everything to fight more spacers and get more loot.
