There was concepts I didn’t understand at all until I started doing multiple choice on UWorld. Edited to add: scaled MBE was 149 and UWorld average going in was in the 60s. I passed the NY bar using UWorld. It came with Themis so that was why I used it over Adaptibar. I have used both UWorld and Adaptibar. If you have Themis, you don't need Adaptibar. I agree with some of the other comments, UWorld is on par with Adaptibar. Personally I like the UWorld explanations way better. The other thing I like about UWorld is they tell you how old the licensed questions are and update them to the current format. These include question banks, flashcards, outlines and study guides. Check out sites such as UWorld Legal, Adaptibar, Smartbarprep, Critical Pass, Bar Prep Hero ...Use Uworld and nurse archive for rationales and (i cannot stress this enough) DO KAPLAN and mark k. Specifically do the “nclex prep” on kaplan, which is all qbanks, practice tests and CAT exams. For lecture i only used mark k. I recommend to do Uworld at least twice (read rationales carefully) then after test your knowledge with Kaplan.After debating between UWorld and Adaptibar, went with UWorld (mostly based on y'alls advice.) Short and engaging cartoon-filled video lessons hold your attention. Attack outlines (called "quicklines") are awesome for the final push. CriticalPass are flashcards and Adaptibar are MBE questions. Adaptibar has more questions then UWorld. I took UWorld's free trial and I mainly went for it because of the explanations. I am not 100% sure if UWorld has all of the recent NCBE questions. That's a good question, I should ask them. In any case what I heard is that NCBE knows what questions they have released and generally tries to add a twist ... Themis. It's less expensive by a wide margin. Even though Barbri and Kaplan don't release pass rates our school released pass rates for the bar exam based on what prep course was used and Themis was almost 10% higher pass rate than the Kaplan or Barbri people.
