Many Jayhawks select student-initiated programs (SIPs), and the Office of Study Abroad supports and assists all KU students during their student-initiated experiences. Students choose SIPs for a variety of reasons, which might include: Study Abroad & Global Engagement will submit a program cost detailing the full cost of the program to the KU Financial Aid and Scholarships office (KU Visitor Center). Make sure to contact the Financial Aid and Scholarships office at 785-864-4700 to inquire about financial aid funding and processes early.The University of Kansas Office of Study Abroad has so many great resources to help you find the perfect study abroad program. We have 5 Peer Advisors who work in the Peer Resource Library in 105 Lippincott Hall. These students have all studied abroad before and know all the program options for you!
