I have since had an opportunity to fire the LC9. (and own the LC9s Pro) and the LC9 is not bad, but not 'special' in the same way the LC9s is. (that and my modified trigger pull is now <2 lbs and short).The Max-9 looks like Ruger’s attempt to cash on on the higher round count micro 9mm market, like the Sig P365 and the Springfield Hellcat. I’m very satisfied with my EC9S, but saw the Max-9 on display today, and it looks good. Those big sights though, looked pretty big for a pistol that might be carried in a pocket.
