The LCP Max is almost identical to the LCP2. Same slide size (fits the same holsters), same unloaded weight of 10.7 ounces. But the Max is a LOT easier to shoot as the recoil is better distributed across the back strap which is slightly wider. I also prefer the PM9 trigger. Very revolver-like. This last part is very subjective. My shooting buddy hated the PM9 trigger. Handed it back.
