The class was first used in SCP-927 in place of "a particularly dangerous keter," but was later removed. One author, Dr. Clef, used Apollyon in his entry for SCP-2317, but regretted its use and changed it. This is why SCPs like 4999 are classified as Keter despite being harmless, and SCPs like 001 (Tufto's Proposal, the Scarlet King) are classified as Safe, despite being the end of the world.
