I've replaced both ignition coils and the CDI with no improvement so I tackled the task of taking off the flywheel. It wasn't easy but I finally got it - see photo.

Even though it says 100:1 on your motor johnson recalled this when motors started blowing up. Ok just some particles can cause big problems with a carb.These are the ONLY spark plugs you should run in your Evinrude or Johnson outboard!
