We were camping at Scott Lake State Park & it's not too far to Monument Rocks. This is off Hwy 83 about 7 miles down a gravel road. The road is well signed, & when it comes to a T go right. It's a mile or so further down. The road isn't too bad to drive. You can't see the rocks until you're about a mile away. This is a large park with several camping areas; we stayed at the main campground that has a camp host. Friendly and helpful staff. Signs not very clear and camping info at main gate is different than at campground, ie, they do take out of state checks!!
