Arlo camera not recording or sending notifications

Thanks to each of you that have replied, but I am apparently not making myself clear. I want the camera to record; it does that. I want to be sent a notification; it does that by calling my cell phone. The latter is the problem that I am trying to solve. I don't want a phone call. I simply want to receive a text. Is that possible?Arlo Pro 2 camera system is month old. Have been recording as expected. There is not a recording on one camera (front porch) for May 21, 2019. Battery 68%. All other cameras have recording throughout the day on 5/21/2019 except that one. There is always a recording on the front because for some reason a bird loves to fly up to the camera.
