Last Silly-Wet match I had a 6X scope on the Remington 541T-HB. Didn't do too well beyond the pigs. I switched to a 15X Weaver CKT-15, 15X, Micro-Trac A/O. I do own a T model in sporter configuration and it does have an accuracy edge over my friends 541S. my T model will shoot consistent 1/2" 5 rnd groups at 50yds. with no problem.

I’ve owned two 541T’s and a 541S. All were extremely accurate. Like 7.62Matt, mine preferred Federal match. However, they were also accurate with Winchester Super X, 38 gr HP, high velocity. I’ve killed a lot of Beavers and squirrels with that combination and a Leupold 3x9AO compact scope.
