When driving it is like you have shifter in low. You have to let off the gas any let it go straight to 3rd. When your in 3rd and mat it and it downshifts it's like you when to netrual. You never feel the trans attemp to shift to 2nd or 4th. I've replaced both shift solenoids and check 2-4 servo.To fix a 4L60E that won’t shift out of first gear, follow these steps: Check the transmission fluid level and condition. It will drive fine and stay in overdrive for a good 10 miles from a cold start, but then once it is warmed up it will jump out of overdrive and downshift.
