As a freshman, I wouldn't recommend Stouffer. There's only two buses that run through Stouffer which either take you way off-campus or not to main bus stops around campus. If you cut across the largest parking lot, it'll be about a 15-20 minute walk to the ISB or Burge Union. From there you can take a bus to the main stops on campus (Yellow 41).The name of the complex recognizes the old Stouffer Place apartments, which were torn down as part of the Central District renovations. This new facility addressed urgent housing needs for the university, which saw four straight years of overall enrollment growth through fall 2017. These buildings opened in summer 2018. Frank R.
