The Taurus Model 709 Slim 9mm in my opinion is probably worst handgun you can purchase. The 709 barrel actually blew up at the range after about 200 rounds. As a 30 yr. gun instructor, I would save up a little more and purchase a reliable and safe handgun. I found a guy that is producing magazine extensions for the 709 slim that add 1 round capacity and enough room to help the average person get their pinky on the grip.
