The TRIO program provides a wide range of individual services and opportunities including: Academic advising, tutoring, career exploration and assistance with technology. Assistance with the financial aspects of college, including applying for Financial Aid, the TRIO scholarship, and additional scholarships.Students must have completed the 8th grade, be between the ages of 13 and 19, and have a need for academic support in order to pursue a program of postsecondary education. All students must be either from low-income families or be potential first-generation college students. TRIO SSS has scholarship opportunities for students in the SSS and SSS STEM programs. Scholarships will have a minimum award of $500 and be awarded for the 2024-2025 academic year.
