I think you will get better price appreciation with SCHD and also growing dividends (although the yield will stay lower due to its better price appreciation). I own both but have a lot more in SCHD. I'd compare schd to spyd. And check out portfolio compositions. One is more div based one has more tech stocks as larger holdings. I own all these mentioned, I suggest same.
