300 page vs 86 page psych/soc doc. Was just wondering which one was more worth it. 86pg cuz no one has the time for the 300pg. My friend got a 131 using it🤷🏻‍♂️. If you have the time 300pg because it covers everything. The 86pg is not enough and hardly makes sense on its own because lack of details.The SBs and FLs will help to prepare for the type of questions and the way of thinking that is needed for the section. TBH the newer MCAT has been very CARS-like but knowing the foundational content from the KA doc and the ANKI deck will make the transition so much easier. 7. Reply. Kaplan’s psych is solid, it’s mainly their sociology and experimental design that they didn’t do a thorough job with. Hey everyone! So I just finished my MCAT on 8/21 and think my Psyc/Sociology section went surprisingly well, which I entirely have Khan Academy to thank. I have never taken an Intro Psyc or Sociology course before, so I relied entirely and solely on Khan Academy videos and found it prepared me EXTREMELY well. I would recommend the 300 pg one, creating an anki deck out of the terms in the 300 you are unfamiliar with, and going through UEARTH + AAMC for P/S practice questions. I also did parts of the milesdown P/S anki deck. I would recommend this if you want a 128+ in P/S. Make sure you don’t just passively read through the pages though, try to categorize the terms in some way to help you retain them.
