A measurement from center of the upright back to the center of the pin holes of Big Hoss's 3 point adapter would be a great help.The standard one piece paper filter number is 388084R93. The high capacity filter is 388085R92. This filter requires a different filter cover or a cover spacer. Both filter numbers are package numbers and should also contain the gasket. The bypass vavle used with the new style filters is part number 386121R92.460 exhaust backfire and loss of power. car has no power under a load at speeds over roughly 2000 rpm. it breaks up and doesnt respond, then if you take your foot off the gas, it backfires bad!! Engine was used, put it in with new carb, new dura spark style distributor. Spark wires plugs on wrong, distributor could be off a gear or two.

No matter how smoothly you move the throttle lever, it jumps from 1200 rpms to nearly full throttle. Below this range it is relatively smooth.
