Cache is independent of the array. What you needed to do is install the new cache drive, copy the data from the old cache to the new cache, then remove the old cache drive. Another way to go about that is to change the cache settings on your shares. Right now you have 'Yes', 'Prefer' or both. When disk devices and ISO Mounts are mounted, they are mounted at /mnt/disks/. They are not a part of the Unraid array and are not mounted at /mnt/disk/ which is for Unraid disk drives. As an example, you have a device named 'MyDisk'. I was hoping to mirror them and then just add another drive and swap my usb drive out for cache1. I then looked up how to move the cache shares back to the array and it showed to set the Use cache pool (for new files/directories) to "Yes". I did that, but still see the shares on the cache drive.Basically turn off docker, VMs and anything else that uses the cache drive. Switch your cache shares (appdata, domains,system) to No. Run mover and that will clear your current drives and put everything on the array. As I understand it, I need to get everything off of my cache drive first.
