I was a week late before I got a bfp with my first. remember that the most common days for implantation are 8-10dpo with 9dpo being the most common so it's very very possible you can still get bfp. getting a positive before 11-12dpo is not as common as you think.
If you were to get a positive, your hcg is at least 10miu but to get a positive on a Clearblue digital with the weeks indicator you would need levels of 25miu. Hcg doubles about every 48-72hrs, so it could take 3-4days after your first positive to have a high enough hcg level to get a positive on the digital.
