The Arabic STARTALK program at the University of Kansas will be a summer 2023 language institute. The program will host K-12 students from Lawrence, KS and the surrounding area's high schools and middle schools. The online (synchronous) pre-outreach will be six hours in Spring, 2023.We have extensive expertise in critical-need languages such as Arabic and Russian, and our standards-driven teaching and assessment practices derive from research. Geared for teachers of Russian and Arabic, MSU’s first STARTALK CLAP workshop will run June 7-30, with optional follow-up sessions during the 2021-2022 academic school year.
