Honda atv turns over but won t start
Dec 3, 2020 · Ran for several days then it stopped starting again. Engine turns over and over but will not start. Took it to the shop 2 days ago and was told I had a loose wire to the fuel injector. Wire located near the radiator cap. Took bike of the trailer and parked it. Tried to start it today but it won’t start. I have a 1997 foreman 400 that will not turn over and has no indicator lights (neutral or revere) and head lights will not work. I have 12 V reading on the new battery. You can jump the solenoid switch and it will turn the motor over but has no spark on the plug.

I accidentally messed with the idle adjustment screw and tried to fix it and now it will turn over but won't start. The starter turns slow like there is low voltage but the battery is fine.Check for piston movement or pull the timing cover to check physical timing (verifying crank sprocket isn't spinning) before you pull the trans. If it isn't the keyway or the ring gear you might as well just pull the motor and trans together so you can get the broken crank dealt with. 0. May 29, 2010. #25.Plug wire on securely. So, yes, check spark. I believe there was an upgraded flywheel for the fix and some folks epoxied the magnets back on. From 2003 until at least 2005, they had the problem.Outlander 800 wont start!
