BulletHole Feb 23, 2021 @ 11:45am. i would say first jobs should be ones that dont require tools, so a gatherer would work better than a hunter. or a lumberjack gathering sticks, instead of logs to start. but due to needing to provide tools you should try to get a crafter working on those tools asap. but also dont rush, you will be better off ...

10 villagers can need anything from 300 (full need, no diplo skill no upgraded house) to 105 wood).. that means between 60 and 21 firewood per day.. and that in turn means providing between 15 and 6.25 logs a day.Honestly I've maxed my well worker and produce as many buckets as I need for that as well. Buckets filled with water sell for more than empty ones. It's an easy source of a little bit of "passive" income in the early game imo. At least if you're close to another village and can easily run back and forth as buckets with water are heavy.
