Here's the footage from the smallmouth bass trip we had on the Peshtigo River. We fished mainly around the railroad bridge, but we did go downriver and fish one spot with a lot of brush piles. I want to go back to that spot and wade fish some more. Smallies were hanging in the brush and slamming baits as we reeled by.Baitfish. We went out salmon fishing on Lake Michigan last night. We saw hardly anything on the locator. We figured at this time of year that the salmon would be in close as they get ready for staging up the river. We got 2 Walleyes one 17", tons of fat large Northers from 25-30 inches, Large mouths, small mouths and a striper. Everything seemed to work well but lindy's and swim baits worked for the Walleyes.Full Moon. Went 3-6 last night just north of town. Started in 165 FOW and trolled out to 225 before heading back west. Picked up a laker on a wire diver in 133 FOW. Got a small king on a downrigger 65 feet down in 89 FOW and picked up a solid rainbow on the wire diver in 98 FOW or so.
