Village idiot is still best, but in the grand scheme of things background changes almost nothing at all. In late game not having village idiot can cost upwards of 500k damage depending the build. Raised by Elves I believe is the 2nd best choice. Raised by elves is an easier early game but less damage end game.Constitution is also worthless. Running around chambers with a 30K shield on my Blightcaller, I still get whacked down to the health gate. Intelligence is also not that great. You either use spell cooldown skills or use spells with short cooldowns. So a balanced bonus still doesn't beat Village Idiot by any means.• 5 mo. ago by xzanzibarzx Best Background for Blightcaller? I heard even for status effects classes/builds you still need high crit damage so you can end up with the most damage for your status.…
