Students are thinkers, who make sense of their world, the essential part being on discussion and collaboration; Students are knowledgeable; in teaching, it is essential to help students to distinguish between personal knowledge and that taken to be known by the culture (Bruner, 1997; Smith, 2002).There are six basic models of co-teaching.
