The fact that the console versions of ark are down to 150GB or so ( including the extra maps) on Playstation while Red Dead is 110-130GB according to folks online seems to very solidly disagree with you. Longest tames take little over an hour, with most tames taking around 20 min average. But if you build a trap and let them starve out, you can do other things while you wait.
