With that said, I highly recommend everyone to take CS 2110 and 2200 regardless of their threads because they cover a lot of CS fundamentals that in my opinion are really important if you are going to college for a CS degree. This was before Arduinos were popular. The Devices thread is basically as close to CE/EE as you can get while being CS, so you get to work with circuits, microprocessors, and FPGAs, that kind of stuff. Fortunately, you don't have to do any of the engineering bullshit along with it like physics-y circuit analysis. It is a computer science degree and the focus really extends further into algorithms than it does product development (with a slight exception for the "People" thread which has stuff like UI design).
