Founded in 2000, Kesem is the leading national nonprofit supporting children facing a parent’s cancer. Today, our community consists of more than 5,300 volunteer college student leaders at over 130 college chapters across the country, providing year-round programs and services for these children ages 6-18 at no cost to families. Camp Kesem is a student run non-profit organization at UC Davis that provides support to families coping with cancer. Every year we set a goal to raise money to provide a free summer camp for children whose parents have or have had cancer.
