While Gibney beach is public, very few visit because there’s basically no parking. There is a community center a little bit down the beach but even when a function is going on there, it never bothers us. The beach itself is beautiful, wonderful sand, easy entry, and gorgeous water. The Gibney Beach cottages are located steps away from a perfect beach. My wife and I stayed at the front cottage for a week at the end of February. The beach was rarely crowed and we thought it was one of the best beaches in St John. Teri, the owner, is very friendly and made some great restaurant recommendations.
